About RRR

An unpaved, red dirt road. Where the scoria gravel does more than kick up dust — it carries the story of self-discovery, spirituality, humbleness, and family that Red Road Rae'sd, LLC. has grown from and continues to grow into.

The name carries two meanings, both close to home. "Rae'sd" is Jessi Rae's own name, claimed and owned — this is Jessi Rae's road, built by her hands and carrying her name the way a family ranch carries its brand. And "Red Road" comes from exactly that: growing up out in the country, where the roads were the scoria gravel of North Dakota, that unmistakable red dirt kicked up behind every truck and hauled through every season on a 5th-generation cattle ranching family's land. That red road raised her.

But "Red Road" means something deeper than gravel and dust. In Native culture, walking the Red Road is a way of life — a path of sobriety, humility, faith, and staying true to your culture and your community, walking in balance with Creator and with the traditions passed down through generations. It's not a metaphor Jessi Rae chose lightly; it's the standard she holds herself to, in business and in life, and the spirit she's built this brand on. Owner and founder Jessi Rae Baker-Mead turned that name and that dream into a reality in 2013, marking the beginning of a journey shaped by her love for family, nature, art, fashion, her Native American culture, and the country lifestyle she was raised in.

As a proud member of the MHA Nation of the Fort Berthold Reservation, Jessi Rae shares her culture's traditions with every customer through her products — photography, custom-made jewelry, and fashion that carries real meaning, not just style. Floral design, event planning, and home design and décor round out the many talents and services available through Red Road Rae'sd.

Jessi Rae's family roots run deep in North Dakota ranching and rodeo life — the Baker, Foote, Fredericks, and Hall families are honored in the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame in Medora, and that legacy of hard work, horses, faith, and community shows up in every collection curated for the boutique.

Today, Red Road Rae'sd blends affordable, trendy urban western fashion with authentic Native American flair and faith-forward pieces for the whole family — women's fashion, home decor, Christian-inspired goods, and the kids' line, RRR Rowdies. The look draws inspiration from artists like Steven Paul Judd and boutiques like Native Star, bringing bold graphics, vintage western photography, and Indigenous pride together in every piece.

More than a decade down that red dirt road, Jessi Rae still lives by the same words that started it all:

"Every red road has its rough patches; faith is what keeps you walking it anyway."

And a great thing this has become — thanks to you, RRR's supportive and loving community.
